Sing to Learn 02: utilizamos el Hard Rock para profundizar en expresiones idiomáticas y mejorar la dicción.

¡Qué tal, familia! Bienvenidos a la segunda sesión de SING to LEARN en la Academia MarKastle. Hoy dejamos atrás el inglés "oxidado" (rusty) para meternos de lleno en el vocabulario de las relaciones y la nostalgia. En este directo aprendemos a preparar nuestro propio repertorio (repertory) [00:07:31], la diferencia entre una guitarra española y una acústica de cuerdas de acero (steel strings) [01:51:24] y, por supuesto, traducimos dos himnos generacionales.

Empezamos con Cinderella y su tema "Nobody's Fool" [00:53:02]. Aquí analizamos expresiones clave como broken ties (vínculos rotos) y la importancia de la pronunciación para no confundir Full (lleno) con Fool (tonto). También vemos términos curiosos como dime y cómo el Hard Rock nos ayuda con el ritmo del idioma.

🎸 CANCIÓN 2: I REMEMBER YOU - SKID ROW 🤘

Pasamos a una de las baladas más míticas: "I Remember You" de Skid Row [01:20:44]. Explicamos qué significa exactamente un Skid Row (barrio marginal) y trabajamos el uso del 'd (habitual past) para hablar de recuerdos [01:28:50]. Además, desgranamos frases como pouring rain (lluvia torrencial) y el verbo wash away.
